"Guide Lance Rust points to blood stains (below paintings) on wall of a cave where aborigines once cut their veins during initiation ceremonies. These paintings have been retouched by white men. Untouched artwork is scarcely visible. Charles Mountford observed that the paintings usually faded badly after about ten years."
