At Martin Place, Sydney, a crowd gathered to send-off two 1908-model Talbots to begin the Cooma to Mount Kosciuszko tourist run. These side-valve Talbots, from the Clement Talbot Ltd Factory in Kensington, London, were well-advanced and with above-average performance for motors of 2.3 litre capacity.
