Description:
Hay Point is the site of the Utah Development Company's coal export terminal. The cutting wheel on Goonyella's Bucketwheel Excavator contains 10 buckets and 10 pre-cutters. Each of the buckets has a nominal capacity of 1.8 cubic metres, and the designed capacity of the system is 7.5 million cubic metres of prime overburden per year.
