No. 74 squadron of the Royal Air Force, The Flying Tigers, the first squadron to be equipped with the English Electric Lightning F. Mk. 1, the first Mach-2 fighter to enter service with the Royal Air Force, are now busily rehearsing for the flying demonstration that they will give at annuals show at Farnborough. The squadron, whose motto is "I Fear No Man", has for many years been colloquially know as the "Tiger Squadron". The unit badge of the squadron incorporates a tiger's face.
