The large scrap metal firm of Simsmetal Pty Ltd situated at Mascot are busily engaged in the cutting up of old steam locomotives, believed to be the last in NSW. Oxy cutter Mr Slave Paulowski of Newton works on the locomotives at Simsmetal.
